
NDIS

The Spark Therapy Services is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider for Occupational Therapy services; we are available to clients who are self-managed or plan managed. We ask that families with NDIS funding provide a copy of their NDIS plan to enable us to prepare a service agreement with transparent information about fees and service provision. Our NDIS hourly rates are based on fees outlined in the NDIS Price Guide.
NDIS Fees: Improved Daily Living

Standard sessions:
Initial parent/caregiver appointments
(90 minutes: 60 minute session + 15 minutes notes/written feedback
+ 15 minutes reviewing submitted forms/questionnaires/reports

Further Clinic/telehealth/phone sessions
(65 minutes: 50 minute session + 15 minutes (preparation, planning, notes/written feedback)

Community visits
(80 minutes: 55 minute session + 15 minutes notes/written feedback
+10 minutes (preparation, planning, transition time)
+ non-labour provider travel - $0.99 per kilometre

Travel time

Our travel rates are calculated using the NDIS Price Guide

Maximum travel time of up to 60 minutes

Travel time is charged at the rate of $97 per hour (50% of the hourly rate)

A non-labour provider travel vehicle operating cost is charged at $0.99c per kilometre

Community visits are clustered geographically, wherever possible, to reduce travel costs
Administration and Report Writing
Administration time, liaison with client's team, preparation of resources and report writing
is charged at the hourly NDIS rate of $193.99.

Meetings with members of a client’s team (e.g. other health professionals, school)

NDIS Cancellation Policy
Our NDIS Cancellation Policy falls in line with guidelines set out by the NDIA. While NDIS guidelines state that a 100% cancellation fee applies if less than 2 days' notice is given to cancel an appointment, our NDIS Cancellation Policy states that if less than 24 hours' notice is given to cancel an appointment, a 100% cancellation fee will apply and if 24-48 hours’ notice is given, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
